Juventus’ sights are firmly set on Borussia Mönchengladbach midfielder Mahmoud Dahoud.
Last night, Bianconeri sporting director Fabio Paratici flew to Germany in order to watch the Champions League match between ‘Gladbach and Manchester City. He is reported to have closely observed the performance of the Syrian-born No.8.
Contracted with the German side until 2018, Dahoud is an option under consideration very much with the future in mind.
Meanwhile, the Serie A champions are continuing their attempts to sign a new midfielder in January. Axel Witsel remains a priority, although Corentin Tolisso of Lyon and Schalke’s Leon Goretzka are seen as viable alternatives.
Rodrigo Bentancur is close to joining from Boca Juniors whilst Atalanta’s Franck Kessié is a hot prospect whom Juventus directors are determined to sign. Their plan is to sign the Ivorian in January and send him back to La Dea on loan until the end of the season.
