Lazio may have found the perfect ally to aid them in their recruitment drive this summer. The Biancocelesti management have reportedly established a good working relationship with Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes. This could subsequently lead to an arrangement whereby some of Mendes’ clients play their football in Rome next season.
Tiquinho Soares – who only joined Porto in late January – reportedly tops the Olimpico side’s list of transfer targets. The Brazilian forward holds a Portuguese passport and would therefore not fill a non-EU spot in Simone Inzaghi’s squad.
18-year-old French wonderkid Kylian Mbappé, valued at €15m by Monaco, is of interest to Le Aquile who are gradually building one of Europe’s most exciting young teams. Claudio Lotito’s Biancazzurri are also targeting two of Mbappé’s teammates; 21-year-old attacking midfielder Thomas Lemar and 24-year-old centre back Jemerson who are valued at €15m and €12m respectively.
Meanwhile, Belgian winger Zakaria Bakkali is in contention for a move to Serie A and would cost somewhere in the region of €5m. 21-year-old Porto midfielder Rúben Neves may decide to quit the Primeira Liga and join the capital club for a fee of €15m, as could Danilo who is on loan at Standard Liege from Benfica.
